Qualifying from Salford University in 1983, Caroline is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council.
Since qualifying, Caroline has continued with regular continued professional development and in 2006 gained a further diploma in the management of Diabetes in Primary Care.
She has worked both for the NHS and privately over 30 years dealing with a variety of foot complaints. For the last 10 years she has specialised within the NHS treating patients with high risk conditions, particularly wound care.
A great deal of Caroline’s experience has been involved with diabetics and the rheumatoid foot. However she can also deal with a whole range of nail problems, corns and callusses, as well as give advice on verrucae and other foot problems. She can administer local anaesthetic for treatment of ingrowing toenails and removal of painful nails.
